This is a post that I wanted to do for a while now, but I wasn’t sure how to handle this topic. Especially with it being so fresh for me. I debated if I should have wrote it earlier or even months down the line. In the end, I decided, that now was the best time for me to write about it. I guess you could figure from the title what this is all about, losing a parent. It’s not an easy topic to write or swallow but I wanted to share it.
Earlier this week, I wrote out all my 2017 goals. There’s so many things that I hope to tackle this year. I’m honestly trying to take it one day at a time since I don’t want to overwhelm myself. It’s so easy for that to happen and it can even result in burn out. Which I know can set me back quite a bit. So anyways, one of my big goals this year for me. I plan on reading at least 30 books this year. I know, it may seem like such a small number, however I rarely read books these days. As I’m always online, either for work or for my blog, articles have replaced the books I used to read.
I’m sorry I wasn’t able to do yesterday’s post. As you guys may know, I caught the case of the flu and between yesterday and Wednesday night, it hit me really bad. Luckily it’s gone for the most part *knocks on wood* but now I have some joint pain. Still I didn’t want to leave you guys hanging without a post. On Fridays I’m hoping to do Friday Favorites, which are going to cover my favorite people, posts, Instagram accounts from around the internet. This is my way of spreading love, because we need more love and positvity in this world.
Good morning my lovelies. Even though I’m not feeling 100% right now, I wanted to put out this post. I’m a big believer in how you start your morning can dictate how the rest of your day goes. So I wanted to share with you all my morning routine for a highly productive day.
Happy first blog post of 2017 guys! We have now entered a new year, so you know there’s going to be resolutions. Personally, I have stopped with the resolutions because they were more wishful thinking on my part. Instead I decided to set goals for myself, which have made me much more productive. So if you’re interested in what my 2017 goals are, read more below.
