Even though it’s December, there may be a chance that you’re not feeling the holiday cheer. However, there are many activities that you can take part in order to catch the holiday spirit. And what better way to do so than to catch up on some holiday movies. I myself love to snuggle up on the couch with my hot drink and binge watch all the Christmas movies and specials. So I figured, what better to share with you all than my list of the 5 holiday movies I believe everyone should watch.

5 Holiday Movies Everyone Should Watch
Now, who doesn’t love Queen Latifah? For me, any movie that she’s been in that comes to mind is a win. In this heart-warming film, she plays a store assistant who finds out she only has a few weeks to live due to a rare brain condition. She sells it all and uses the money on a luxury holiday in a European hotel, living life to the fullest.
This is a movie on everyone’s list and with good reason. This romantic comedy follows the interrelated love stories of various couples during the holiday season. If you want something to watch with your significant other, this should be on the top of the list.
The Muppet Christmas Carol
Do you like the Muppets? Then this movie for you, this holiday musical is a Muppets rendition of the classic tale of the ol’ bitter mister Scrooge.
Eloise At Christmastime
This is a childhood favourite of mine though I’ve only watched it a couple of times. It’s a funny but lovely film about a little girl Eloise who lives in a hotel and decides to play cupid during Christmas. She helps a woman reunite with her former boyfriend before she marries her current fiancée. And what’s even better is that Julie Andrews is in this film.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
Now, this is a given considering who’s writing this post. You know I’ll always try to squeeze in The Grinch some way, somehow. This time, I really wanted to recommend the animated version. To some, it’s considered a television special, but holds a spot in my heart. The title is pretty explanatory, but the special tells the story of how a grumpy creature (The Grinch) comes up with a plan to rid Whoville of Christmas for once and for all.
These are the movies. If you want, you can check out last year’s post on 6 other holiday movies that you should watch. Have a must-watch movie for the season? Share it down below, I’d love to read it.
