I can’t believe that its been a whole week since I started blogmas. I’ve been so consistent, it’s shocking on to me. I’ve been super motivated since I started and I have gone above and beyond to make sure I have a post out each day. It’s really refreshing and I hope to continue on this streak until I hit my goal on December 25th. Today I wanted share with you all a letter that I have written to jolliest man around, Santa Claus. If you’re interested to read what I wrote, check it out below.
My Letter to Santa Claus
Dear Santa Claus,
I can’t believe I’m writing this at my age. When was the last time that I sat and wrote to you? Maybe when I was 6 or 7. Where I’d ask for every toy I saw advertised on tv, or ask for a white Christmas in the Caribbean. I’m sure now if that was to happen, there’d be worldwide panic. How funny is some of the things I wished for as a child.
This year I’m not going to list off all of the gadgets and gizmos that I want this year. But I didnt make a list a couple of days back, so if you want to pick out something nice from there, I definitely won’t stop ya. Instead I want to ask for the intangible things in life.
For this year, I want my friends and family to be happy and healthy. It’s such a simple but important request for me. I’m not only talking physically either, but mentally as well. Especially because the latter is often overlooked and disregarded.
I would also like a better experience in 2017. Now that’s complex isn’t it? But 2016 was a bit of a mess for me that I honestly don’t want to repeat in 2017. I’d also like the opportunity to show off my skills in writing and art. Maybe even a job that was just made for me?
Now I feel like this letter is a bit heavy. But letters get like that sometimes, don’t they? So to end it off on a light note. Santa, if you could make me like really fit, no matter what I eat, that’d be sweet.
