New Year, New Goals?

Happy New Year to you guys! How have you been enjoying 2018 so far? These past couple days I have spent reflecting. I really wanted to look back at 2017 and appreciate how far I’ve come through all the good times and the really bad times. Then I took the time to write my 2018 goals, rather I should say affirmations. I had a good talk with a friend who recommended that I try writing my goals as affirmations instead. This would put me in the headspace of doing, rather than hoping and wishing.

My 2017 Christmas Wish List

As it gets closer to Christmas, I’m spending more time organizing and buying gifts for friends and family. I’ve been so busy with work and the festivities that haven’t sat down and thought what I wanted for myself. I decided to do a post on my 2017 Christmas wish list.
I between my work schedule, I’ve still made time to sit down and read all sorts of blogmas posts by fellow bloggers. And I have to say my favourite are the wish lists. It’s so fun and relaxing to see what everyone’s must-haves are. If you can I definitely recommend checking out those posts since you might find something for a dear friend or yourself even.

Would You Rather? A Christmas Tag

Happy Blogmas Day 11 everyone. I can’t believe it’s been a month since I started the blogmas challenge. I figured it would be nice to share another Christmas tag with everyone. A favouriteĀ of mine has always been would you rather. It’s interesting to see what everyone would choose if given a choice. Based on The Rose Glow’s post, I decided to share this tag with you all.

Aunt Jackie’s Curls and Coils Review

Happy Thursday, lovelies. Today I am going to be reviewing a few products from Aunt Jackie’s Curls and Coils line. Some of you may know that I decided to go back natural in 2013 and big chopped in 2014 after transitioning for a year. You can read more about my hair journey here.

So you may be wondering why I chose Aunt Jackie’s. I was a big Cantu fan before. Like I swore by the product and no could tell me anything about it. However, I realised recently that it left my hair very dry. Even when I used their leave-in conditioner, my hair never felt moisturized enough. And after I found out their leave-in contained isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol), I was like nope and chucked it.
